Flood and Spray Nozzles: Even Our Smallest Products Make a Big Difference

Famed UCLA basketball Coach John Wooden once said, “It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.”

Coach Wooden was focused on dribbling, but not the type sometimes seen in the mining, aggregate and concrete industries, where a dribble is not a good thing.

Rather, flood and spray nozzles are little items that play a big part in a many operations’ safety protocols.  They are commonly used to prevent and put out sparks, disperse gas, keep dust down, cool machinery and much more.

That’s why TEMA ISENMANN Flood and Spray Nozzles are made for efficient, productive, and long-lasting performance. Here are a few reasons customers are fans of our nozzles:

Efficiency and Endurance: Our Flood Nozzle design reduces downtime and ensures constant, efficient operation. Manufactured from abrasion-resistant polyurethane for long life, they replace two or three conventional spray nozzles with one, by utilizing a 120-degree spray angle. The orifice diameter for standard sizes facilitates uninterrupted flow by reducing blockage problems from contaminated water.

Reliability: TEMA’s rugged and reliable polyurethane Spray Nozzles will stay firmly fixed to your spray bar. The integral, molded-in spray orifice delivers dependable, constant spray volume and spray width to the material bed. Fans cannot be separated from the nozzle so your screens will never be ruined by direct spray because of a displaced fan.

Time Saving: TEMA offers a style that has a “quick connect” that not only allows them to be installed easily, but also to removed and cleaned out quickly. This means less personnel time and less down time.

Multiple Size Options: Designed for wet screening and dust control applications, Spray Nozzles come in standard 3/4" and 1 /2" NPT Couplings. They are available in three nozzle sizes: 5, 7 and 9 mm.

Color Coding: We often remind customers to “Think Yellow.” However, when it comes to our Aquaplast Spray Nozzles, you’ll be thinking green, blue, orange, gray and yellow depending on the spray pattern needed. Our Micro, Mini and Heavy Duty Flood Nozzles are color coded for size.

When it comes to nozzles used in mining, aggregate and industrial settings, little things really do matter.
